The Scholastic Book Fair will be coming to Boulan's Media Center on March 7-11. With the theme of Peace, Love, BOOKS!, our library will be transformed into a groovy place to be with decorations from the Troy High National Art Honor Society students. Your child should have received a parent letter and a sneak peek pamphlet about the hot items at the book fair. Or, you can also see the letter here. Check the schedule to see which day your child will be attending the fair. Be sure to load the book fair app on your phone or on your child's iPad! This free app will give you access to videos and podcasts about the books that will be at the fair, along with summaries, AR reading levels, and prices. Shop the fair using the pamphlet and the app with your child before you go! NEW THIS YEAR: Students can create a wishlist using the app in order to show you what books they would like to buy. You can order directly from the app OR send money with them to make a purchase the next day at school. Please stop by the book fair during Parent-Teacher conferences on March 10 from 5:30-8:30 pm. ELA teachers will be giving out raffle tickets to parents who attend conferences. Your child could win a basket of free books!
Can't make it to our fair? Don't worry--shop our online bookfair March 2 - 18! Shipping is free, and your purchases will arrive at school. Mrs. Chatel will contact you for pick up. Don't miss out on TIE-DYE SPIRIT DAY on Friday, March 11--students wearing tie-dye that day will receive a $1 off their purchases! Thank you for your support of reading and the Boulan Park Media Center!
