The Scholastic Book Fair will be coming to Boulan Park's Media Center on November 10-14. With the theme of Sir Readalot's Castle, our library will be transformed into a "Kingdom of Books" with decorations from Boulan as well as Troy High National Art Honor Society students. Your child will be receiving a parent letter soon and a sneak peek pamphlet about the hot items at the book fair. Or, you can preview the letter here. Check the schedule to see which day your child will be attending the fair. BRAND NEW THIS YEAR: Load the book fair app on your phone or on your child's device! This free app will give you access to videos and podcasts about the books that will be at the fair, along with summaries, AR reading levels, and prices. Shop the fair with your child before you go! Would you like to honor your child's teacher by purchasing a book as a gift off the teacher's wish list? We will have a display listing the books at the book fair that each English teacher would like to have in his/her classroom library. This would be a wonderful holiday gift for your child's teacher! We are having a special Parent Shopping Event during Parent-Teacher Conferences on November 12. Please stop by the Media Center from 12:30-3:30 pm or 5:30-8:30 pm to have some treats and get your holiday shopping started early! Students will be able to create a wish list to bring home to you. Can't make it to our fair? Don't worry--shop our online bookfair November 2-22! Your purchases will arrive at school before Winter Break in time to give as holiday gifts. We all remember the "Book Fair-oh" from last year... The big question is this: What will Mrs. Chatel's costumes be this year?!? Come to our fair to find out!
