We are nearing the end of the Troybery program at Boulan Park Middle School. In order to vote, students must read at least 3 Troyberys from the 2014 list by Monday, April 14. Voting will take place on Tuesday, April 15 during all hours. ELA teachers will send students who are eligible down to the media center to vote. As an incentive to participate, we will be handing out prizes to students who read 3 or more Troyberys. Those that read ALL ten Troyberys will receive a special prize PLUS will be able to attend an exclusive pizza party during lunch on May 21! Encourage your child to read all ten to receive this honor. The 14th Annual Troybery Ceremony will be held on Thursday, April 24, at the Services Building. Around 30 lucky students will be chosen to attend from those who turned in their blue Troybery registration cards. This wonderful event will be hosted by student emcees from each middle school; they will be presenting students from the four middle schools who have created Troybery projects and will be asking trivia questions to those in the audience. Also, students' names will be drawn from the registered Troybery voters for gift baskets. Students across the district will be able to watch the ceremony live on Troy-TV and find out which book is the Troybery winner! We are looking for student work to showcase at the Troybery ceremony! Please see the following document. Troybery 2014 Projects are due to Mrs. Chatel by April 17. We will choose a few projects to use during the ceremony, and those students will be chosen to attend!
