Looking for some new ways to integrate technology in your classes?
1. Poll Everywhere--Set up a poll for free (multiple choice, yes/no, even equations and images!). Students text the answer to a specific number code. Show the immediate results on your SMARTboard.
2. Today's Meet--Wondering how to get the introverts in your class involved in class discussion? Set up a "room" on Today'sMeet, give kids the URL, and watch as they can use their mobile devices to participate in an online discussion.

3. Padlet--Create a wall for your students to write notes on. This website has myriad uses, from grabbing their attention by having them respond to a question to having them show what they learned by summarizing the main points of a chapter. All students need is the URL (and password, if you make the wall private.) See a sample.
4. Glogster--Tired of the same old poster report? Try Glogster, an online poster creator. You can sign your class up for the EDU version, or use the free version. Students compile images, text, video, and sound for their "glogs." See a sample.
5. Prezi--Instead of PowerPoint, try Prezi for your lectures or for student projects. Prezi is a free website where you can create beautiful, interactive presentations that seamlessly include sound, images, and video. See a sample.
